First Aid - a collection of simple, effective measures to protect the health and lives affected by injury or suddenly ill person. Correct first aid reduces the special treatment promotes rapid healing of wounds and is often the decisive factor in saving the life of the victim. First aid should be provided immediately at the scene quickly and efficiently before the arrival of a physician or to transport the victim to hospital.
Everyone should be able to give first aid to the extent of their abilities and capabilities. In accordance with this first aid is divided into amateurish (unskilled), and special care. Life and health of the affected person is usually dependent on first aid by persons without specialized medical education - amateurs, in this regard, it is necessary that every citizen were aware of the essence, principles, rules, and the sequence of first aid. The essence of the first aid is to halt the further impact of traumatic factors, conduct simple activities and ensuring speedy transportation of injured to hospital. Its mission is to prevent the dangerous consequences of trauma, bleeding, infection and shock.
